Keep Trying; Hold On; Believe in Yourself // Goodies

This life… is what you make it.
No matter what you’re going to mess up sometimes, it’s a universal truth.
But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up.

Girls will be your friends – they’ll act like it anyway.
But just remember, some come, some go.
The ones that stay with you through everything – they’re your true best friends.
Don’t let go of them.

Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world.
As for lovers, well, they’ll come & go too.
And babe, I hate to say it, most of them – actually pretty much all of them
are going to break your heart.
But you can’t give up because if you give up,
You’ll never find your soul mate.
You’ll never find that half who makes you whole.
& that goes for everything;

Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you’re gonna fail at everything.
Keep trying, hold on, & always, always, always believe in yourself.
Because if you don’t, then who will, sweetie?
Keep your head high.
Keep your chin up.
And most importantly, keep smiling.
Because life’s a beautiful thing &
there’s so much to smile about.

PS, take a look at the picture below of some goodies I got today.  Please let me know if you want a review of anything! 🙂

PPS, when my parents came down this weekend, we got our Dad to put up the clock that’s been leaning against the wall for weeks now! It looks good; things are slowly starting to come together nicely.

Oscar chowing down near the island adds a nice touch to this photo. (Both snapped just with my Blackberry Bold. Sorry I couldn’t be bothered to grab my camera and attempt to find the cord to upload right now!)

  1. Being in love is hard work and it is NEVER perfect. I think lotsa ladies are looking for the perfect mate. If you both love each other for who you are and don’t strive to CHANGE each other’s quirks …life is good.

  2. No one is perfect and neither are the situations, I believe most people realize that. One problem might be that we really don’t know what we want… from ourselves OR others.
